My name is Sam Wake, and I am recent graduate from the University of Western Australia where I studied International Relations and Economics. I have completed research in Jakarta on access to medication and development policies for the region. I also had the opportunity to undergo a yearlong exchange program, living with a host family and studying in Madrid. I plan on continuing my studies with a master’s on development economics; to understand how policy can best be used to empower marginalized groups from around the world. In my free time I absolutely love a quiz night to test that geography and politics knowledge! Whilst I also love to get outdoors and be active, be it playing soccer, rock climbing or anything in between.
