Nicole is a Master of Development Studies student at the University of Melbourne, researching technological competitiveness impacting intra- and inter-regional development disparities. She also a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Monash University majoring in Politics and International Relations. Her interests lie in strategic politico-economic development, environmentally sustainable governance, and human rights. Nicole has also held multiple internship positions at the Australian Institute of International Affairs, the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Melbourne and the German-Southeast Asian Centre of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance in Bangkok, where she developed and implemented communications campaigns, supported policy research and large scale community engagement projects. As Marketing officer at YDS, she hopes to use her creativity to engage with diverse young people and promote platforms to elevate their voices on geopolitical events.
